A Deeper Look Into The Lodge
There are four distinct spaces here at The Lodge, including two dining rooms, a quaint bar area, and our legendary second floor lounge! All are very unique and provide completely different settings with the same friendly staff and quality service!
If you want a more formal setting - you are welcome in our Main Dining Room, boasting a gas fire place, original wood floors, beautiful exposed brick, and newly updated touches to enhance the ambiance.
Looking for a laid back environment? Visit our recently renovated Red Room - host of Trivia Nights, Music Bingo, Painting Parties, and more exciting happenings.
When the weather's nice, we love to roll up the garage doors and enjoy the quiet Indiana evening.
Come hang out in The Second Floor lounge that houses old school memorabilia, parlor games, a designated bar with drink specials, and big screens to watch your favorite team. (21+ Area)
The Bar area holds home to the liveliest group in New Washington. The actual bar top was made from local reclaimed Indiana wood and possesses just as much character as the people who occupy it.

A history as rich and as deep as the flavors on the menu!
Originally constructed in "1894", our unique establishment began as a Masonic "Lodge" and later served as a school house and then a movie theater, eventually becoming "The 1894 Lodge" we know and love today!
Stop in for a delicious meal, and while you're here, take a look around at a fascinating glimpse into Southern Indiana history!
